I live in Louisiana and lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. I challenge Barack Obama to stop using the "Katrina Card" to bamboozle the unfortunate people of the Lower 9th Ward into thinking he cares about their situiation beyond garnering a vote out of them this election cycle. Read and Learn.
Barack Obama took campaign donations from Tony Rezko. Barack Obama helped Rezko secure a $43 million dollar loan at the taxpayers expense. Rezko bought eleven properties in Obama's State Senate District. Rezko's low-income housing put African-American families in buildings riddled with problems -- including squalid living conditions, vacant dilapidated apartments, lack of heat, squatters and drug dealers.
So Mr. Rock Star Candidate: Did you know of these conditions and do nothing about them or were you to busy cutting land deals with Rezko's wife to be concerned by such petty circumstances. Americans would like to know.
